Another product of the University of Tasmania Cricket Club powerhouse. Leo has moved up the ranks right from playing his first season as a junior up until his first grade debut in season 2021-22. His seam bowling and immaculate control has seen him causing headaches to some of Tasmania’s most sound and skilful batters. His career as a 1st grade swing/seam bowler has only just began and will continue to grow from strength to strength as he gains experience in Hobart’s premier cricket competition.

Leo’s development as a senior cricketer has been in the hands of some of Tasmania’s most prestigious names to ever wear the tigers Jersey, namely Damien Wright, Ben Hilfenhaus, Tim Paine & James Faulkner who are all still connected with the club as players/coaches. It would be fair to say he has been gifted a solid platform to flourish and get the best out of his ability under the guidance of these names.

Flexible around his study in 2025, Leo is looking to challenge his skillset in unfamiliar conditions over in the UK and bring back his learnings to Hobart in the aim for a strong start to his next Australian season. His style of medium fast swing & seam bowling is tailor-made for the UK and will be a huge asset to any club willing to give him an opportunity.
